“Without memory, there is
no culture. Without memory,
there would be no civilization,
no society, no future.” Hannah Arendt
The Cabinet of Nostalgia is a Digital Archive focused on the theme of nostalgia, aiming to heighten awareness and evoke memories of peaceful coexistence between Armenians and
Azerbaijanis before conflicts arose, and to highlight ongoing harmonious engagements among diverse civil society groups.
At its core, The Cabinet of Nostalgia emphasizes the significance of dialogue, unity, and collective memory.
The Cabinet of Nostalgia functions as a metaphorical space where memories, emotions, and artifacts from the past are collected and curated. It will encapsulate tangible elements which associated with personal experiences, sentimental belongings, and cultural relics that evoke memories.

The Cabinet of Nostalgia is not only focused on fond memories; it also acknowledges the darker aspects of history that cannot be ignored. It makes space for solitary nostalgia—memories tied to specific times, places, or events that may be painful, unresolved, or difficult to revisit. These stories are part of our collective reality, carrying loss, silence, and complexity.
